Problem it solves
Reviews pile up. You need the pattern, not another dashboard, and you need one change you can actually try.
Best tool
- ChatGPT (free chat)
- Claude (free chat)
- Gemini (free chat)
- Copilot (free chat)
The free chat is enough for one draft. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and the free Microsoft Copilot chat can each do this. A paid plan only helps if you hit a usage limit. Copilot inside Word, Excel, or Outlook is a separate paid Microsoft 365 feature. You do not need it to try this once.
Copy-paste prompt
Summarize recent reviews of my restaurant into the top 3 praised items, top 3 complaints, and one fix to try this week: [paste reviews]
Replace every [bracket]. If you cannot fill one, delete that line.
Example output
A usable draft names three praised items, three complaints, and one fix, each tied to words that appear in the reviews you pasted. It should not invent a star average.
Tips
- Paste the review text. If a quote is not in that paste, do not repeat it.
- One fix means one operational change, such as a missing item or a wait. It is not a marketing slogan.
Time saved
Estimate: reading a month of reviews yourself can take a while. Sorting them with this prompt is faster. You still decide whether the fix is real.
How to use it
- Copy the prompt. Copy the prompt on this page into a free chat.
- Fill every bracket. Replace each [bracket] with a fact from your own notes. If you cannot fill one, delete that line instead of guessing.
- Edit before you use it. Read the draft against your notes. Delete any price, date, name, or promise you did not supply. You decide what gets sent.
