Answers for the phone questions you wrote down

Updated

Problem it solves

You wrote down the questions. The answers and the handoff list are the script any phone tool will need.

Best tool

  • ChatGPT (free chat)
  • Claude (free chat)
  • Gemini (free chat)
  • Copilot (free chat)

The free chat is enough for one draft. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and the free Microsoft Copilot chat can each do this. A paid plan only helps if you hit a usage limit. Copilot inside Word, Excel, or Outlook is a separate paid Microsoft 365 feature. You do not need it to try this once.

Copy-paste prompt

Here are the questions our phone gets most. Write short, accurate answers plus a list of calls that should always go to a person: [paste the questions and the answers you already give]

Replace every [bracket]. If you cannot fill one, delete that line.

Example output

A usable draft answers in your facts, stays short, and lists calls a person must take. It does not add a question you did not write down.

Tips

  • The phone note says to do this before you buy anything.
  • If you have not written the answer you actually give, leave that question unanswered rather than publishing a guess.

Time saved

Estimate: the phone note frames this as the work you do before a purchase. Drafting from a list you already made is the short part.

How to use it

  1. Copy the prompt. Copy the prompt on this page into a free chat.
  2. Fill every bracket. Replace each [bracket] with a fact from your own notes. If you cannot fill one, delete that line instead of guessing.
  3. Edit before you use it. Read the draft against your notes. Delete any price, date, name, or promise you did not supply. You decide what gets sent.

Before you buy anything, write down the 20 questions your phone gets most. Then paste them into ChatGPT or Claude and ask for short, accurate answers plus a list of calls that should always go to a person.
