What a month of reviews loved and did not

Updated

Problem it solves

Turns a month of Google reviews into the three things people love and the three they don’t.

Best tool

  • ChatGPT (free chat)
  • Claude (free chat)
  • Gemini (free chat)
  • Copilot (free chat)

The free chat is enough for one draft. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and the free Microsoft Copilot chat can each do this. A paid plan only helps if you hit a usage limit. Copilot inside Word, Excel, or Outlook is a separate paid Microsoft 365 feature. You do not need it to try this once.

Copy-paste prompt

Here is a month of reviews. List the three things people love and the three they do not. Quote a short phrase from the reviews for each. Do not invent a rating: [paste reviews]

Replace every [bracket]. If you cannot fill one, delete that line.

Template

Period: [month]
Number of reviews pasted: [count]
Loved:
1. [theme] — "[phrase from a review]"
2.
3.
Did not love:
1.
2.
3.
We will not claim a star average unless we calculated it.

Example output

A usable draft is six lines, each with a phrase that appears in the paste. No average score unless you typed the average yourself.

Tips

  • The templates page describes this job. The bot is not live.
  • A theme with one review behind it is not a trend. Say how many reviews you pasted.

Time saved

Estimate: pasting a month of reviews and reading six lines is shorter than rereading them with a highlighter. You still decide what to change.

How to use it

  1. Copy the prompt. Copy the prompt on this page into a free chat.
  2. Fill every bracket. Replace each [bracket] with a fact from your own notes. If you cannot fill one, delete that line instead of guessing.
  3. Edit before you use it. Read the draft against your notes. Delete any price, date, name, or promise you did not supply. You decide what gets sent.
