Two-week social calendar
Updated
Problem it solves
The feed goes quiet because deciding what to say takes longer than posting. You need two weeks, not a theory of content.
Best tool
- ChatGPT (free chat)
- Claude (free chat)
- Gemini (free chat)
- Copilot (free chat)
The free chat is enough for one draft. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and the free Microsoft Copilot chat can each do this. A paid plan only helps if you hit a usage limit. Copilot inside Word, Excel, or Outlook is a separate paid Microsoft 365 feature. You do not need it to try this once.
Copy-paste prompt
Make a 14-day social calendar for this business. For each day say whether to post or skip, the channel, the point of the post, and the exact words. Use only the facts below. Do not invent a sale, a review, or a statistic. Business: [name] Town: [town] What you sell: [one sentence] A true offer this month, or "no offer": [offer] Days you can realistically post: [days] Voice: [for example short and plain] Do not mention: [competitors, prices you have not set, anything else]
Replace every [bracket]. If you cannot fill one, delete that line.

Business: [name] Town: [town] Offer that is true: [offer or none] Day 1: [post or skip] | [channel] | [words] Day 2: Day 3: Day 4: Day 5: Day 6: Day 7: Day 8: Day 9: Day 10: Day 11: Day 12: Day 13: Day 14:

Example output
A usable draft is 14 lines. Some days say skip. Posts use only your facts. There is no fake customer quote and no “limited time” unless you wrote the offer.
Tips
- If you can post twice a week, the calendar should skip the other days. A full grid you will not run is not a plan.
- Read every post out loud. Cut jokes that are not how you talk.
Time saved
Estimate: a blank two-week grid is an annoying hour. Editing a draft down to posts you would actually publish is shorter, and you should still edit.
How to use it
- Copy the prompt. Copy the prompt on this page into a free chat.
- Fill every bracket. Replace each [bracket] with a fact from your own notes. If you cannot fill one, delete that line instead of guessing.
- Edit before you use it. Read the draft against your notes. Delete any price, date, name, or promise you did not supply. You decide what gets sent.
