Service list for your Google profile
Updated
Problem it solves
The service list is either empty or a dump of every phrase you hope to rank for.
Best tool
- ChatGPT (free chat)
- Claude (free chat)
- Gemini (free chat)
- Copilot (free chat)
The free chat is enough for one draft. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and the free Microsoft Copilot chat can each do this. A paid plan only helps if you hit a usage limit. Copilot inside Word, Excel, or Outlook is a separate paid Microsoft 365 feature. You do not need it to try this once.
Copy-paste prompt
Make a service list for a Google Business Profile. One line per service I actually offer. Include a price only if I wrote one. Do not add a service to chase a search term. Services I offer: [list] Prices I will publish: [price next to the service, or "no prices"] Services I will not list: [list]
Replace every [bracket]. If you cannot fill one, delete that line.
Example output
A usable draft is a clean list of services you named, with prices only where you gave them. Nothing extra for keywords.
Tips
- If you do not offer it this month, leave it off. A profile that over-claims creates calls you cannot take.
- Type the list into the profile yourself and match the names to what you put on the website.
Time saved
Estimate: cleaning a list you already have is a short pass. It is not an SEO campaign.
How to use it
- Copy the prompt. Copy the prompt on this page into a free chat.
- Fill every bracket. Replace each [bracket] with a fact from your own notes. If you cannot fill one, delete that line instead of guessing.
- Edit before you use it. Read the draft against your notes. Delete any price, date, name, or promise you did not supply. You decide what gets sent.
