Where to learn AI in Charleston this fall
Want to learn this stuff in a room with other Charleston owners instead of from a YouTube video? You have options this fall.
Here’s what’s on the calendar, from downtown to Moncks Corner.
Free
AI CAN Do It. SHOULD It?, from Kentro Studio and Chucktown Startups, is November 6 at The Aku Venue Event Center in Moncks Corner. You bring a real business problem and work through whether AI is the right fix. Lunch is included and seats are limited.
Hands-on series
Charleston Digital’s AI & Data in the Holy City runs through November 20 at 91 Hanover Street. It goes from the basics to building your own agents.
The Harbor Entrepreneur Center in Mount Pleasant runs Building AI Agents for Entrepreneurs as a one-day session on November 19.
Industry-specific
Law firms can go to AI Era 2.0 on Daniel Island, November 5 and 6. Women in the building industry can go to the HBA of the Lowcountry’s session on AI on November 12.
Monthly
AI Advantage meets the second Tuesday of every month at the Charleston AI lab on Jessen Lane. Pulse Change Management runs it. The next session is November 10 and costs $75.
Added this week
The list above is not the whole calendar. Introduction to AI is October 20 at the Charleston Learning Center on Conroy Street, and Claude for Professionals is there on October 28. Both run 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
October 23 is a free Agentic Cloud Day at HarborWalk Center, 360 Concord Street, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. HarborHack, a weekend build where each team works with an AI agent, starts that evening at Harbor Walk East, at the same street address, and runs through October 25.
On November 4 the Harbor Entrepreneur Center in Mount Pleasant holds AI for Beginners at 9:00 a.m., and the Charleston AWS User Group holds a hands-on agents workshop at 5:00 p.m. at Harborwalk East.
Pick one and go. You’ll learn more in an afternoon with people who run businesses like yours than in a month of reading about it. The full list with links is on the events page.
